Gameception allows you to download a number of different game versions following the familiar old-school first person shooter model and play them in one easy-to-maneuver place! Its a game within a game!
Based off the Doom Classic source code, Gameception lets you play hundreds of different “mods” (in the form of .WAD files) on your iOS device (must be PrBoom compatible!), with a variety of versions to choose from.
Gameception starts you off with "Freedoom" and allows you to download additional levels/games online. Just hit "Manage" in Gameception and you can easily download other levels and games. All you have to do is search the web (using Gameception), find a mod that you like, and download it! Once downloaded, simply tap the game to enable play.
If you already have such a .WAD file (like Doom™ or Doom II™) on your computer, transfer it over with Dropbox or iTunes File Sharing.
